By Bus: Cardiff Prison is centrally located near the city so any bus taking you into Cardiff passes the prison

By Train: The nearest main line station is Cardiff Central, the closest minor station is Cardiff (Queen Street) station about ¼ mile from the prison.

Parking at Cardiff Prison
There is no visitor parking but there is an NCP multi-story car park directly opposite the prison. The road outside the prison also allows Blue Badge holders to make short stops.
